Everest 2010

Everest Base Camp- Tibet

In these pages, I will document the current status of my financing (income and expenses), equipment list, logistics, training and events. It should be a means for people generally interested in my progress to see how things are progressing .

Currently I am working to develop three expeditions to Aconcagua in December which I intend on leading. Please write to me at 7summits2010@gmail.com if you would like to join.

Route and Expedition Company

I have chosen to go with the seven summits club again. Alex and Luda run a great program on Everest and they are like extended family to me in Russia. I have already paid the down payment reserving my place as the first member of their 2010 team. We have discussed and agreed that the North Side in Tibet will be our route to the top of the world in 2010.

73The typical amount of time for this expedition is approximately 70+ days, taking us from Kathmandu to Tibet.

Themain reason for choosing the team and route is because I know what I can expect, which means a lot. The fear of unknown is only left to the last part of the upper mountain, which I did not ascend in 2005.
